The Andhra Pradesh government plans to enhance its support for arts and cultural heritage, announced Kandukuri Durgesh, the state minister for tourism, culture, and cinematography.During the Indian Dance Festival-13 at the Anam Kala Center, organized by Sri Lalitha Kala Nrityanikethan, the minister praised the young performers who showcased exceptional Kuchipudi dance. He celebrated their talent, taking photos with them and expressing his appreciation to the event organizers.
Minister Durgesh highlighted the importance of preserving the state’s cultural identity, stating that hundreds of children performing Kuchipudi ensures the longevity of this art form. He noted that promoting such cultural initiatives would guide the youth positively and pledged government support for similar events.He commended the efforts of the event organizers and teachers, including noted Kuchipudi guru Arava Anjaneyulu, for their dedication to enriching the region’s cultural landscape. The minister also acknowledged Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s commitment to prioritizing arts in the state, alongside the artistic endeavors of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
Expressing pride in Rajamahendravaram’s rich cultural heritage, Minister Durgesh emphasized the joy of being part of such events as the tourism and cultural minister, surrounded by dance teachers, artists, and students.
