In a grand ceremony attended by thousands of Velama community members and leaders from East and West Godavari and Krishna districts, Rajahmundry City MLA Adireddy Srinivas received a warm welcome.
During the event, he reflected on the political harassment his family faced under the previous YSR Congress government and expressed gratitude for the support from his brother, Nara Lokesh.Srinivas affirmed his family’s commitment to the Telugu Desam Party, stating, “As long as we are alive, we will remain in the party; otherwise, we will leave politics.” He pledged to continue working for welfare and development and urged the community to support him.
Former MLC Adireddy Apparao shared his journey, recalling his humble beginnings in Rajahmundry and the political mentorship he received from Chalamuri Venkateswara Rao. He noted Srinivas’s impressive electoral performance, winning with a 73,000-vote majority in the last elections.
Challa Shankar Rao, chairman of the Aryapuram Cooperative Urban Bank, praised the Adireddy family’s political legacy, highlighting their ability to garner support across various communities. The event concluded with floral tributes and commemorative gifts presented to Srinivas and Velama representatives, marking a successful gathering of solidarity and support.
