Rajanagaram MLA Bathula Balaramakrishna has praised the coalition government for delivering effective and transparent governance in its first 100 days. Speaking at a media conference, he highlighted several key initiatives that have had a positive impact on citizens across the state.Balaramakrishna emphasized the government’s swift decision to repeal the Land Title Act, which he said had been burdensome for many landowners. This move was seen as a step toward fairness in land administration.The MLA also lauded the reforms in the alcohol sector, pointing out that the previous government had engaged in large-scale corruption, looting thousands of crores through illegal liquor sales. In contrast, the current government has implemented a new system, ensuring the availability of quality liquor at an affordable price of ₹99 per quarter.Flood relief efforts were another significant achievement, according to Balaramakrishna. He mentioned that 40 of the first 100 days were devoted to providing assistance to flood-affected areas, showcasing the government’s commitment to crisis management.

On the welfare front, the MLA highlighted the increase in pensions, with the amount raised by ₹1,000 to ₹7,000 starting in April. He noted that pensions are now being distributed one day earlier each month, and the government is working to extend benefits to all eligible recipients.Farmers, too, have benefited from the government’s policies. Balaramakrishna said that payments for paddy procurement are being made within 48 hours, providing timely financial support. Additionally, the government has cleared over ₹1,600 crores in dues owed to farmers, offering much-needed relief.

Looking ahead, Balaramakrishna assured that Rajanagaram constituency will see significant development, including the establishment of a government polytechnic college and the restoration of bus services. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to both public welfare and the overall progress of the state.
