Temple committee president Pakkurthi Sattibabu oversaw the event.Rajahmundry MP and BJP State President Daggubati Purandeswari attended, offering prayers and enjoying a traditional Kolatam dance. She interacted with children dressed as Krishna and Gopikas and visited the Goshala.Purandeswari emphasized the need to uphold righteousness without expecting rewards, stressing the responsibility (“badhyata”) of sharing Krishna Janmashtami’s message with everyone. She expressed hope for positive change under the coalition government.
