On Saturday morning, Collector P. Prasanthi visited the Sri Gouthami Jeeva Karunya Old Age Home in Narayanapuram and distributed social security NTR Bharosa pensions to the elderly residents. Due to September 1 being a holiday, the state government had directed that the pensions for August be distributed one day earlier.
The elderly residents expressed their happiness at receiving the pensions directly from the District Collector. The Collector noted that pensions were distributed to 60 beneficiaries at the Jeeva Karunya Old Age Home.Across the district, a total of 239,924 pensions were distributed with discipline and efficiency. The Collector praised the efforts of the officials and staff for delivering 83% of the pensions to beneficiaries’ homes by 10 a.m. The event was attended by Additional Commissioner P. M. Satyaveni and other officials.
