Joint Collector S. Chinna Ramudu conducted a visit to Korukonda Mandal. On Sunday, touring the villages of Korukonda and Kapavaram. During his visit, he issued directives regarding the registration of crop details in the government’s “E-Crop” initiative for 707 acres of agricultural land under revenue records in Korukonda village. He emphasized the importance of completing the registration by September 15, 2024.In Kapavaram, JC Chinna Ramudu inspected the SC Girls’ Welfare Hostel, where the building was found to be in a dilapidated condition. He directed that the students be immediately relocated to safer accommodations. District officials have already shifted 26 students to a secure building following the Collector’s instructions.

Additionally, JC Chinna Ramudu instructed the revenue authorities to identify and address similar unsafe buildings across the district and take appropriate measures. During his return journey, he also noted the heavy flow of rainwater near West Gonagudem due to recent heavy rains and urged officials to ensure proper drainage. He was accompanied by District Agriculture Officer S. Madhava Rao, Tehsildar V. Suswagatham, and Agriculture Department AD Mallikarjun Rao, among others.
