District BC Welfare Officer B. Shashanka stated that, following the orders of the District Collector, inspections were conducted on Sunday at the Government BC College Girls’ Hostels in Rajahmundry Rural and Urban, as well as the Government BC Boys’ Hostel in Rajahmundry.
During the visit, instructions were provided regarding cleanliness and sanitation in the hostels. Specific suggestions were made concerning the need for hot water and food supply, especially considering the seasonal changes.
The officer emphasized strict guidelines for food hygiene and preparation. The students were also engaged in discussions to gather feedback on the facilities provided, and precautionary measures for the changing seasons were advised.
