Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh, emphasized the life-saving impact of blood donation, describing it as a noble act that offers new life to those in critical condition. He inaugurated a blood donation camp at the Nidadavolu Government Hospital on Monday, joined by local leaders and medical professionals.
Minister Durgesh highlighted that donating blood is akin to saving lives, benefiting not only the donor’s health but also providing crucial support in emergencies. The event was part of a series of social service initiatives organized in honor of Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayati Raj Minister Konidela Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, including blood donation camps and the distribution of essential supplies to differently-abled individuals and sanitation workers across the constituency.
The minister also participated in similar events at Veluvennu and Kakraparru government schools, where clothes were distributed, and a medical camp was launched in Peravali village and Nidadavolu town. As part of environmental protection efforts, he also took part in a tree-planting campaign. Certificates were awarded to the blood donors during the event.Former MLA Burugupalli Sesharao and other local leaders were also in attendance.
