Due to continuous unseasonal rains, low-lying areas of Vijayawada have been severely flooded, causing significant distress to residents. On Monday night, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by State Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh, visited the affected areas, including Ajit Singh Nagar.
Minister Durgesh expressed deep concern over the situation, stating that the government is fully committed to providing all necessary support to the affected residents. He assured that NDRF teams and government machinery are actively engaged in large-scale relief and rehabilitation operations.
