On the second day of relief efforts, East Godavari district prepared 109,500 food packets to assist flood victims in Vijayawada. District Collector P. Prasanti announced that 53,000 food packets were delivered in the morning using 20 vehicles.
In the evening, an additional 56,500 food packets will be dispatched using 24 vehicles.This relief effort is a collaborative initiative involving various organizations, including the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation, local associations, educational institutions, and volunteers. The food packets include breakfast, water, bread, milk, and biscuits, all sourced and supplied with the support of contractors and donors.
