The Collector emphasized the urgency of preparedness, particularly in the face of continuous heavy rains recorded across Rajamahendravaram Rural, Urban, Kadiyam, Peravali, and Tallapudi mandals.Officials were directed to initiate immediate evacuation efforts in vulnerable low-lying areas and ensure that all necessary arrangements at rehabilitation centers are complete.

Fishing activities have been banned, and the necessary emergency measures have been activated. The Collector also ensured that no leaves are granted to secretariat staff, who are to be available round the clock to support ongoing flood relief efforts.
