The Rajamahendravaram Ganesh Utsav Committee has announced grand celebrations this year with the installation of the Srishti Ganapati idol at Pushkar Ghat. The event, overseen by committee representatives Jakkaampudi Vijayalakshmi and Challa Shankar Rao, marks 15 years of annual festivities organized by the committee.The idol will be installed on September 7 at 9:54 AM, followed by daily cultural programs and distribution of prasadam.
Vijayalakshmi explained the significance of the Srishti Ganapati, connected to the Krishna element and appearing in the 8th chapter of the Ganesh Kanda from the Brahma Vaivarta Purana. The idol will also feature representations of Lord Subramanya.The committee expressed gratitude to all supporters and emphasized the importance of Ganapati worship, with plans for prasadam distribution daily during the event.
