Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinema, Kandula Durgesh, along with MP Daggubati Purandeswari, announced the opening of the Morampudi flyover on the National Highway to ease traffic congestion.
They inaugurated the new flyover alongside MLAs Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary and Adireddy Srinivas.Minister Kandula Durgesh emphasized that the flyover would reduce traffic pressure and prevent accidents. He credited the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, MP Purandeswari, and local MLAs for completing the project.
He added that the government is committed to constructing more flyovers to address congestion in other areas.MP Purandeswari highlighted that infrastructure development is key to a nation’s progress and expressed satisfaction with the timely completion of the Morampudi flyover. She also announced plans to speed up construction of other flyovers on the highway, including those at Diwan Cheruvu, Bommuru, ITC, and Vemagiri.MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary mentioned that previous plans for five flyovers had been stalled by the previous government but assured that the current alliance government is committed to completing them. MLA Adireddy Srinivas stressed the importance of continued collaboration between central and state governments to ensure infrastructure projects move forward smoothly.The event was attended by government officials, local leaders, and National Highway authorities.
