East Godavari District Congress Committee President, TK Vishweshwar Reddy, has vowed to work collectively to restore the Congress Party’s former glory in the district. Speaking to the media on Tuesday in Rajahmundry, after being elected as the District Congress President, he expressed his commitment to strengthening the party in the region. His efforts, he emphasized, would be aimed at helping Rahul Gandhi become the Prime Minister.Reddy further stated that under the leadership of PCC President Sharmila Reddy, everyone in the party would work in coordination to achieve their goals.

During the same meeting, Balepalli Muralidhar, who was re-elected for the third time as the Rajahmundry City Congress President, also participated. In his address, he expressed his gratitude for the continued support of party members and vowed to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence. The newly appointed PCC State General Secretary Arigela Aruna Kumari and PCC State Vice President Martin Luther, along with other leaders, took an oath to work towards bringing the Congress Party back to power both in the state and at the central level. Vishweshwar Reddy remarked that the public’s perception of the Congress Party remains positive and pledged to restore its reputation as a party that represents all sections of society.On this occasion, he also announced the establishment of a large and extensive district Congress office in Pachellanela Municipal Colony.
