State Minister for Culture and Tourism, Kandula Durgesh, commended CREDAI for its efforts in uniting builders and consumers on a single platform to showcase modern construction techniques.
The minister, along with MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary, inaugurated the CREDAI Expo at Cherukuri Kalyana Mandapam on Friday.
Durgesh emphasized the importance of modern building practices and the availability of bank loans that make home construction easier. He noted the variety of new construction materials and tools on display and urged consumers to take full advantage of the expo.
CREDAI President Buddig Srinivas highlighted that the expo, running through the weekend, features products from major MNCs in the construction industry. He also announced that CREDAI contributed ₹50 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Vijayawada flood victims.
Several political leaders, including MLA Gorantla, Janasena Party City President Y. Srinivas, Arayapuram Bank Chairman Challa Shankara Rao, and others, attended the event, alongside CREDAI officials. The expo features stalls from housing projects, builders, and suppliers of construction materials.
